Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Where possible, Signal2Drive offers pick-up and drop-off from your home, workplace, college or another agreed location within our Galway service area.
Lessons will generally start and finish at the same agreed location unless an alternative arrangement has been made in advance.
Areas Covered
Our service area covers west Galway and selected nearby areas, including Terryland, Tirellan, Menlo, Newcastle, Dangan, Westside, Rahoon, Shantalla, Claddagh, Salthill, Taylor’s Hill, Clybaun, Knocknacarra, Kingston, Ballymoneen and Moycullen.
Please check the areas listed above alongside our service-area map to see whether your location is within our normal pick-up and drop-off area. Service areas shown on the map are approximate and are intended as a general guide.
Learners Outside the Service Area
Learners living outside the service area are still very welcome. You will simply need to make your own way to an agreed meeting point within the service area, where your lesson will start and finish.
Lesson Areas and Training Routes
Lessons are not restricted to fixed training routes. I’ll select suitable roads and locations based on your experience, confidence and the skills being covered during each session.
During one-hour EDT lessons, travelling to the Clybaun or Westside driving-test areas may not always be the best use of your lesson time. Instead, each EDT session will focus on developing the required skills on suitable roads closer to your agreed pick-up location.
Once EDT has been completed, lessons increase to two hours. This provides greater flexibility to spend meaningful time driving in and around the Clybaun and Westside driving-test areas, helping you become familiar with the types of roads, junctions and traffic conditions you may encounter on test day.
Training Vehicle and Availability
Lessons are conducted in our fully insured, dual-controlled 2025 Renault Clio, providing a safe, comfortable and supportive learning environment.
Driving lessons are available seven days a week, Monday to Sunday, with flexible scheduling to accommodate work, study and family commitments.
